A marketplace where businesses find people to help them grow, and people find paid opportunities that fit their skills. It starts in Jamaica and is built to grow beyond it.
No. One Earn and Build account can do both. Start with whichever you need, and switch on the other mode from your dashboard at any time. Your profile, messages and history stay in one place.
Yes. Choose “Continue with Google” on the sign-up or log-in page. If you already have an account with the same verified email, we link them instead of creating a duplicate.
Earning
Publish your profile. It gets a public link (earnandbuild.com/u/your-name) and appears in Find Talent searches for your skills, categories and location.
No. A name, headline and a few skills are enough to publish. Add work samples, services and experience whenever you're ready.
Hiring
Post an opportunity and review applications, or find someone in Find Talent and invite them to an opportunity. When you accept someone, the agreed scope, price and deadline are recorded for both of you.
Payments
Businesses pay by card on Stripe's secure checkout, in JMD or USD. Earn and Build holds the money until the business approves the work, then sends the person's share: by local bank transfer for people in Jamaica, or through Stripe for people in countries Stripe supports. If work is cancelled before approval, the business is refunded. Card details stay with Stripe.
No. Payments for work found on Earn and Build must go through Earn and Build. Paying or asking for payment outside the site removes the protection for both sides and can lead to account removal.
Two: Jamaican dollars (JMD) and US dollars (USD). Pick one when you post an opportunity or set your rate. We never convert amounts, and budget filters compare within the currency you choose.
Trust & safety
Only what you choose: name, headline, bio, skills, services, portfolio, and optionally your location and rates. Your email, password, messages and payment details are never public. You can unpublish any time.
Reviews can only be left by the two people involved in completed work on Earn and Build, once per engagement.
